Plug-and-Play Main Workouts (15 Minutes)

Here are a couple of my favorite 15-minute sets you can drop into the template.

Workout 1: The Pyramid Sprint

This workout is great for building cardiovascular endurance and teaching pacing.

- 1 minute ON, 1 minute OFF

- 2 minutes ON, 1 minute OFF

- 3 minutes ON, 1 minute OFF

- 2 minutes ON, 1 minute OFF

- 1 minute ON

I find this works well for a lot of clients, the short timed bursts allow clients to push that little bit harder.

Workout 2: Power & Pace

This one focuses on generating power and maintaining a consistent stroke rate.

5 Rounds of:

- 1 minute at a high power, 20-24 strokes per minute

- 1 minute at a recovery pace, 20-24 strokes per minute

- 1 minute of complete rest

For me this can be a lot tougher, this takes endurance and works the muscles well.
